RELEASEES: Abby Fallis, Northrunner Elite Canine My Dog Runs and assistants.
IN CONSIDERATION of being able to participate in the entitled classes or activities, the undersigned:
Class/Activity: The event for which I am registering, including any associated dog sports training or clinic activities.
HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the class provider, promoter, other participants, owners and lessees of the premises used to conduct the classes and each of them, or their agents and employees, all for the purpose herein referred to as “Releasees,” from all liability to the undersigned for any and all loss or damage and any claim or demands therefor on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in the death of the person or property of the undersigned arising out of or relating to the Seminar, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releasees and each of them from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur arising out of or related to the activity whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, INCLUDING DEATH, arising out of or related to the activity whether caused by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise.
HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CLASS, ACTIVITY, WORKSHOP, TRAINING MAY BE DANGEROUS. The activities of the activity involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or damage to persons or property. This event involves participation of working animals that may be subject to demanding physical and sometimes harsh climactic conditions.
HEREBY AGREES THAT THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT EXTENDS to all acts of negligence by the Releasees and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the Province in which the training is conducted and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS,UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME. I INTEND MY SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
By checking the box during registration, I acknowledge that this action constitutes my electronic signature and my agreement to the terms of this Waiver and Release. I understand that this electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under the Ontario Electronic Commerce Act, 2000.
